About The Interviewr

TheInterviewr Story

The Interviewr started as a brainstorming idea in November 2010 over lunch at a local BBQ place. The idea then sat on the back burner until July 2011, when an fully formed idea became this site.

The idea? How to make interviewing easier by providing all the tools needed to schedule and conduct an interview. This can be useful to journalists, bloggers, hr people, podcasters, researchers and anyone else who may need to conduct and record interviews, from writing stories to interviewing prospective employees.

That idea has since grown into the world’s first Interview Relationship Manager, where we let you manage your various contacts, interviews, notes, files all in one easy place. You can tag interviews and contacts to associate them together and even get your completed interviews transcribed.

Our focus is entirely on streamlining the interviewing process to be fun and more efficient.

Today, we have thousands of users, and we host hundreds of interviews every month, with more growing each day.

People have come to see us as their interview source, and we continue to grow this into an experience for everyone.


Our Background

We came into The Interviewr with a background of interviewing people, so we know exactly what it is like to be in our users shoes.

We’ve got a mixed background of journalism, public relations and human resources, so we pooled our experiences together to build The Interviewr.

And we use The Interviewr in our day to day lives for conducting interviews.
